Chris Allen
Owner/Broker

After being furloughed as pilot from Delta Airlines following September 11th in 2001, Chris Allen relocated back to his hometown of Oklahoma City and formed a residential real estate company, The Allen Group at RE/MAX First.  Due to Chris's previous experience as owner and manager of Florida Intra Coastal Realty, changing career fields from pilot to real estate broker was handled with ease. Chris had record sales his first year in business and The Allen Group (TAG) hasn't stopped growing since!  TAG has averaged one home sold every five days for over six years!  Additional licensed Realtors & office staff have added a better rounded group to help ever-growing client needs. 

Chris grew up in Oklahoma City and Edmond.  He attended Edmond Schools until 1981 graduated from Casady High School  in 1987 and is an Eagle Scout.  Earning a spot at the United States Air Force Academy, he was active in golf, skiing, and academics and graduated on the Dean's Honor List in 1991 when President Bush, Sr. presidented him with his commissioning as a Lieutenant in the USAF.  He has piloted planes to every continent in the world, including the South Pole-flying the C-21 Learjet and C-141 Starlifter aircraft.  Towards the end of his tenure in the Air Force, he worked as a Presidential Support Pilot and one of five Nuclear Airlift Aircraft Commanders.  After his career in the US Air Force, Chris accepted a pilot position flying the Boeing 737 with Delta Airlines.  Training and working for a major airline gave him a corporate perspective with real bottom line issues affecting him directly. 

Chris's management positions in the Air Force, the up close and personal experience of being furloughed by Delta Airlines after 9-11 and learning to adapt to new environments with his work has given him some amazing insight into working with people and growing business smart.  He has been described as one of the toughest negotiators in the business!  As a matter of fact, Chris has completed the Harvard Negotiation Project course.  Chris was a proud member of the Re/Max 100% Club, Executive Club and distinguished Platinum Club while brokering under Re/Max.  The Allen Group reached the "Top #1 Team" for the Greater Oklahoma City Metro with Re/Max!  In 2010, Chris opened up his own independent real estate brokerage company, The Allen Real Estate Group. Chris is actively involved in church and is an avid outdoorsman. Parenting three daughters with his wife Stacey, Chris very much enjoys living and working in the city in which he was raised.

Stacey Allen
Marketing

With over 15 years of experience in public relations and marketing, Stacey Allen oversees all marketing efforts for The Allen Group.  Her career has taken her from New York ad agencies to handling public relations for Hyatt Regency Hotels as the Southwest Regional Manager in Arizona to managing marketing for over 100 banking instituions in Missouri and Illinois to a small boutique agency in Washington State until returning to Oklahoma in 2001.  Stacey holds a Bachelor's of Arts in Journalism from the University of Oklahoma.  She has worked for numerous boards and planning committees incorporating event planning for the American Heart Association's Heart Walk, Heart Ball in Washington State, Red Tie Night, Redbud Classic, and Downtown in December to name a few.  Other industry organizations she has been a member of include Public Relations Society of America and Bank Marketing Association.  She currently divides her time handling the company's marketing needs and, along with her husband Chris Allen of the The Allen Group, raising three daughters in Oklahoma City.

Natalie Bratton
Accredited Buyer's Realtor

Natalie Bratton, a native Oklahoman, has spent most of her life in NW OKC.  She graduated from Putnam City North High School in 1994 and continued her education at Oklahoma Baptist University.  In 1998 she received a bachelors degree in Music Education.  She taught music in the Edmond Public Schools for six years.  Natalie also had a private piano and voice studio. 

Natalie began her real estate career with The Allen Group in 2004.  She is a Realtor who specializes in working with buyers. Whether you are first-time buyer, relocating to Oklahoma, or investing in real estate, Natalie will represent your best interest in the home buying process.  In 2006, Natalie become an Accredited Buyer's Representative and a member of The Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council (REBAC).

Natalie enjoys playing several musical instruments and teaching Zumba classes. She also loves going to restaurants and watching movies. Natalie attends Bridgeway Church where she plays on the worship team.

Barbara King
Sales Associate 

Barbara King is a delight to work with and will make your home buying/selling experience smooth and fun!  Barbara has worked in the Oklahoma real estate market since 1997.  She is skilled in representing both buyers and sellers, from first time home buyers to executive living.  Barbara just started a forum on Facebook.com for first time home buyers! She also has great relationships with many home builders in Edmond and Deer Creek.  Her expertise covers a broad area including North & Northwest OKC, Putnam City, Edmond, Moore and Norman. She enjoys working with relocations, military transfers, and first time buyers. Her outstanding communication skills coupled with being a dependable team player make Barbara indispensable to the group and to clients.  Her successes give credibility and authenticity to each transaction with which she is a part.

She started her career with Harper Oil Company in the early 80's and went on to work for LittleHorn Communications and Urban Market as a manager for both companies.  In the late 90's she entered into the real estate profession under Roy Woods as his personal real estate assistant.  Learning from one of the finest real estate professionals in this market, she went out on her own in 2004 until recently joining The Allen Group.  Barbara is both detail-oriented and dependable, separating her from the many as she stands out in this industry for her professionalism.

Barbara has been rewarded the prestigious President's Club Award from Re/Max Mid States Region multiple times. She also completed a course with the Harvard Negotiation Project.  Barbara volunteers with Catholic Charities and attends St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. She is a board memeber of Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School Alumni Association and has served as treasurer in the past.  She is married to Paul King and they reside in Oklahoma City. She enjoys spending time with her family including three daughters, two son-in-laws, and her puppy Pippa.

Ben Poe
Listing/Buyer Specialist

When the opportunity to work in real estate arose, Ben Poe could not pass it up!  He's gaining ground on veteran Realtors in the OKC market and is a big fan of the latest online technologies to keep clients up-to-date on the real estate market. He has a voracious appetite for getting into the books and reading up on all the latest changes in the real estate industry as well as researching tax credits and economic stimulus incentives.

Ben spent the last several years in the oil and gas industry as the founder and CEO of Premier Land Prospects. Before working in oil and gas, Ben spent time at Bank of Oklahoma and Dell, both in Oklahoma City.  Ben is also an experienced lifeguard and swim coach for the YMCA.

A native of Texas, Ben now considers himself an Oklahoman.  He went to high school in Ada and graduated college from Oklahoma State Univerity in 2005 with a degree in Public Relations.  He currently lives in Northwest Oklahoma City with his wife, Kelsey and dog, Luna. Ben and Kelsey enjoy going to the dog park with Luna and working on their house together.

Ben is excited about real estate.  His enthusiasm for people and love for the Oklahoma City Metro area makes it a fun day for those that have the pleasure of house hunting with him.

Anya Taschereau
Administrative Assitant/Buyer Specialist

Anya Taschereau considers herself a native Oklahoman after moving to Edmond from California when her family was relocated in 1998. Anya joined The Allen Group in August of 2010 as the office Administrative Assistant.

A recent graduate of the University Central Oklahoma, Anya achieved her Bachelor's of Science in Sociology with a focus on Human Services. After being behind the scenes of The Allen Group for over a year, her most recent endeavor is to obtain her license to buy and sell real estate! Anya loves working with people and assisting them with their needs, whatever they may be.

After purchasing her own first home, Anya became excited to help other first time buyers understand & feel comfortable with their purchase. Anya's intuition and cheery disposition only add to her professionalism and client service. She is excited to begin her journey as a licensed Realtor!
